Distraction Osteogenesis

Distraction Osteogenesis is an innovative technique, inspired by the field of Orthopedics, for lengthening limbs. Distraction Osteogenesis (DO) is required when a large vertical bone defect is encountered. DO helps to build the desired height of bone without the need for harvesting bone from another site.
